Today Nick Schlueter, our Manager Product Development & Marketing, won the Boss of the Year Award presented by the Great Falls Chamber of Commerce.
The award it’s a contest where employees can nominate their bosses so the Great Falls Chamber can recognize the very best of the best! The winner receives a Chamber Blue Star award and a $50 gift card to a fabulous restaurant.
Shane Etzwiler, President & CEO at Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, came to the Vision Net office for the award ceremony.
The Great Falls Chamber had a lot of great nominations come in this year. Our team worked hard to narrow down the top choices. It was Thaisa Souza, Nick’s Marketing Assistant, who nominated him, on her comments she said “Nick is more than a boss, he is a mentor, he believes in the best of people and keeps the team extremely motivated.” We are pleased to present this award to Nick, you can just tell he is a great person, very involved, very engaged, with good people skills, so it’s a pleasure to recognize him as being a strong leader in the community. Congratulations, well deserved!

Everybody here knows how I feel about my team. It’s easy to be a good boss when you have spectacular people that work for you, that’s how I feel around the room. Again I appreciate this, this belongs to all of us. I just can’t say thank you enough.
