Montana’s Largest Service Provider Raises the Bar in IT System Monitoring
Vision Net, a Montana-based communications technology solutions provider, announced today that it will begin offering ScienceLogic’s next generation IT monitoring software to its service provider customers, offering them end-to-end network monitoring and management. With IT systems exerting a greater impact on a company’s bottom line, the ability to monitor and manage each of its parts is ever more critical.
The ScienceLogic deployment means that in the event of an IT issue, an IT technician will be able to quickly scan applications, servers, network elements, or an IT service as a whole, from one user-friendly dashboard. The end result is quicker identification of the root cause of the problem, before end users are impacted. Return on investment is high as it accelerates response times and reduces man-hours moving from one monitor or system to another.
Vision Net engineering manager Gary Evans said the transition to ScienceLogic is the right move for his company. “ScienceLogic delivers an extremely efficient monitoring system that offers a deeper view into each part of the IT system,” he said. “It enables service providers such as ourselves and our customers to respond quickly and efficiently to problems as they arise, sometimes before they arise. The result is enhanced service and greater customer satisfaction.”
Other ScienceLogic benefits include:
Vision Net CEO Rob Ferris said that his company ran a highly competitive search process before selecting ScienceLogic. “As Montana’s largest service provider, we’re committed to providing our customers with the most cutting-edge products and services available on the market today,” he said. “The ScienceLogic solution certainly fits the bill.”
For ScienceLogic, the move into the Big Sky state is welcome. “We are thrilled to bring our next generation IT monitoring software platform to Vision Net and its many customers, both in Montana and across the country,” said Dave Link, co-founder and CEO at ScienceLogic. “This is a wonderful opportunity for us to showcase that our solutions are versatile and flexible enough for all levels and sizes of service providers.”
ScienceLogic’s software integrates the core IT monitoring functions needed to run today’s complex, distributed computing infrastructures – including systems, performance, network, service, event, and asset management capabilities, as well as multi-tenancy, run book automation, and service desk – all in one product with one unified code base, user interface and centralized data repository.
